Separate the transferable idea from the historical outcome. A clear demonstration or narrative structure can remain useful even when the original timing and audience cannot be reproduced. The old view count is evidence about that post, not a forecast for your adaptation.

Inspect the current product context and define what you intend to test. Keep the reference date in the brief. If the idea depends on a temporary event or obsolete platform behavior, adapt or reject it rather than carrying the entire premise forward.
