Your AI agent says “published.” Which evidence should the UI require?
The conversational response sounds confident, but the underlying tool returned only a queued operation.
Our take ↳
Compare these two responses after the tool returns a queued job: “Published. Your campaign is live.” “Job accepted and queued. The next confirmed state is still pending.” The second is less theatrical and much more useful. Keep the job identifier and the actual state available in the interface so the user can inspect what happens next.
Accepted, queued, running and completed must remain distinct. A conversational summary should explain the tool result rather than upgrade it. If a later status check fails, preserve the last confirmed state and identify the uncertainty. Confidence in the prose is not evidence that the post exists.
