Before launching in the US, fill in these six lines

“We want US reach” leaves a lot undecided. This is a short brief for the conversation between the founder, whoever makes the content and whoever runs the accounts.

Our take

Keep it short enough that someone will actually read it. The first two lines should name a customer and a working product destination. A country is not a customer segment.

Then get specific about the first piece of content and the action it asks someone to take. If the demo shows a feature that isn’t available in the US, sort that out before asking for more reach.

Finally, name the person who can pause publishing and decide what evidence would justify another batch. That could include audience geography, qualified visits and first purchases, depending on the data you can genuinely access.

The brief won’t predict the outcome. It will expose the assumptions before several people spend a week executing different versions of the plan.

The six-line launch brief

Customer
Who in the US has this problem?
Destination
Where can they try or buy the working product?
First creative
Which real product moment will we show?
Next action
What should the viewer do?
Owner
Who approves, publishes and can pause?
Decision
What evidence earns the next batch?

A working brief, not a promise of US distribution or sales.
